I built RekoGen to solve a real problem: there's way too many anime out there, and it's incredibly hard to decide what to watch. With streaming sites scattered across multiple platforms, each with their own unique content, finding the right anime in the right place can take forever.
RekoGen acts as the middleman—not a streaming app, but a discovery platform that helps you find what to watch and where to watch it. With so many different anime sites and streaming platforms, this app makes it possible to figure out which site contains the anime you're interested in.
The best recommendations come from people who love the same things you do, so Forums, friends, and sharing sit at the heart of the app. The idea clicked one night scrolling through endless rows of anime that didn't match my mood. Friends' takes helped, but I still couldn't decide. I wanted a way to tell an app the genres and tones I'm into right now—and have it narrow the choice to a few, right‑for‑me picks, plus tell me where I can actually watch them. That's RekoGen: set your preferences, ask Renji for AI-powered recommendations with streaming info, then jump into Forums to discuss and share with people who care about the same things.
